![]() ![]() (the version that you do have in your particular Photoshop. as long as you use "Ope As." it opens it in Camera Raw. you can open ANY file in fact in Photoshop that way. you will find that whatever version of Camera Raw is in YOUR Photoshop will then open the file and you get in that a quite different set of processing than normally in Photoshop for such as a JPG. THEN in the box from which you select a file to "Open As." make sure the botton "File Type" line is set as "Camera Raw" type.do not leave it as the TIF.open it AS a Camera Raw file. Support/Adobe/PlugIns/CS3/File Formats/Camera Raw.plugin Windows XP and. but you do NOT simply use the "Open" command in Photoshop. A Note About Camera Raw Updates Adobe has stated that Camera Raw will be updated. What you do is first convert the files to (maybe preferably TIF files) in the standalone.then Open them for processing in an earlier Photoshop. if you have or get the latest Adobe DNG Standalone.you can with that convet your RX-100 RAW files to either DNG or TIF.THEN those CAN be opened in what I suppose is ANY reasonably older version of Photoshop. ![]() but if you have an earlier PS version then I don't think it would take the latest ACR which it needs for the RX.īut you know. as such version will take the latest Camera Raw update. I have CS6 and that certainly now will do RX-100 RAW files. You have never said which Photoshop version you have. I already have real Photoshop, so Photoshop Elements doesn't really interest me. Do Raw Therapee or Adobe ACR do a better job than the Adobe DNG converter? What about DXO, which I see mentioned sometimes. I have the Adobe DNG converter, as I mentioned in the original post.
